Optimal DC Input Voltage for Fronius Symo 7.0-3 and Panel String Configuration

Fronius Symo 7.0-3 DC Input Voltage Range

The Fronius Symo 7.0-3-M inverter supports:

DC voltage range: 150 – 1000 V (absolute min/max)

MPPT voltage range: 150 – 800 V (full power MPPT ~228 – 800 V)

Start-up voltage: ~200 V DC

Panels: Each has Voc ≈ 52 V (open-circuit voltage).

Inverter Start-up

4S2P: ~208 V open-circuit barely meets the 200 V start threshold. Under load/hot conditions, voltage may drop below 200 V.

8S1P: ~416 V easily exceeds 200 V startup threshold. Reliable early start-up.

MPPT Operating Window

4S2P: ~160–180 V is at the bottom of MPPT range (150–800 V). May limit full power operation (<228 V optimal).

Der Fronius Support (den ich ebend gefragt habe) sagte, er müsste anfangen sobald der über 150V geht. Selbst wenn er dann nur 5W erzeugt.

optimizer

Ok, hab noch nie nur ein String laufen lassen. Wenn alle gleich ausgerichtet ist es aber besser max Spannung im String zu bekommen.

Schattenmanagement kann der Fronius ganz gut auch ohne Optimizer. Erst wenns wirklich Probleme gibt, weil zu viel gleichzeitig verschattet und die Steingspannung nicht stabil steht.

BRC gibt es, die universal passen, besser als die Tigo…

mpp fronius

Ich habe eben mit dem Support telefoniert und nach dem Wert der Startspannung gefragt.

Aussage: Bei standardmäßiger Einstellung auf “MPP Auto” ist die Startspannung auf die kleinste Startspannung von 150V (beim Symo 7) eingestellt. Nur wenn man auf “MMP manuell” umstellt, ist der eingestellte Wert der Startspannung (hier 600V) relevant.

Den Startspannungs-Wert zu ändern ist bei Grundeinstellung “MPP Auto” also belanglos.
