Set force charge/back up mode on the inverter and set SOC 100% to charge the individual batteries separately for 5-8h(with 53.2V,2A). 2. Use a DC charger and set 53.2V,2A to charge the individual batteries separately. Balancing may take few days. * 2nd method Hi, I re-checked your battery status, This balancing scheme may be more suitable for you: The key is to adjust the current according to the battery voltage: Phase 1: Battery voltage is 49V, use 5A, 52V to charge the battery Phase 2: Once the battery voltage reaches 52V, use 0.3A, 52.8V to charge the battery. Once the battery reaches 52.8V, stop charging and observe whether the battery voltage difference is smaller. If necessary, discharge the battery to 49V, and then repeat phases 1 and 2. ====== Balancing ====== Voltage set to 54 or 53.2volt Und die fuer ein paar tage so laufen lassen. It can also take up to two weeks for them to be completely balanced (or that was my experience with my own LFPs). Just give it some time and don't worry so much 🙂 Difference in the range .Differenz von höchster Zellpsannung zur niedrigsten von 0,02 bis 0,03 V: ist ok ====== Pylontech US3000C Battery Balancing Scheme ====== To balance your Pylontech US3000C batteries, follow these steps: 1. Set the inverter to force charge/back-up mode and set SOC to 100% to charge the individual batteries separately for 5-8 hours (with 53.2V, 2A). 2. Alternatively, use a DC charger and set it to 53.2V, 2A to charge the individual batteries separately. Note that balancing may take a few days. **Do I need to disconnect the cable after reaching 100% SOC?** - For example, you can perform the first balance on day 1, the second balance on day 2, and the third balance on day 3. - Each balance session may take 6-8 hours, and you may need to repeat it several times. **Balancing Scheme:** - Re-check your battery status and follow this more suitable balancing scheme: **Phase 1:** - When the battery voltage is 49V, use 5A and 52V to charge the battery. **Phase 2:** - Once the battery voltage reaches 52V, use 0.3A and 52.8V to charge the battery. - Once the battery reaches 52.8V, stop charging and observe whether the battery voltage difference is smaller. - If necessary, discharge the battery to 49V, and then repeat phases 1 and 2. **Sources:** * [[https://www.forbesbatteries.com.au|Forbes Batteries Toowoomba]] * [[https://www.inutec-int.com|Inutec International]] ====== Cycels ====== !!--------------- 494 (23.6.2024) !!--------------- 483 (9.6.2024) !!- 459 (5.5.2024) !!--- 24 cycles 159kwh !!---------------- !!---------------- ====== Wemos ====== https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/46845301/153719006-df9bcf39-f79c-4770-ba9c-481a9d0af07f.png ====== Battery monitor ====== https://github.com/irekzielinski/Pylontech-Battery-Monitoring https://www.rustimation.eu/index.php/solar-pylontech-akku-ueber-konsole-aufwecken/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7VyQjKU3MsU ====== RS232 ====== https://youtu.be/qj07v10E4XA?feature=shared The standard USB to RJ45 FTDI cable is not wired correctly for communication with the Pylontech batteries. Pylontech batteries use the RS232 transmit/receive and ground on RJ45 pin 3, pin 6 and pin 8. The USB to RJ45 FTDI cable has RX (receive) on pin 3, TX (transmit) on 6 and GND (ground) on pin 4. Only these three wires should be connected. For RS232, the TX wire at one end must be connected to the RX wire at the other. https://thornton.info/tools/rj45console_db9.htm ====== what charge the cells ====== It should also be noted that a LiFePO4 cell stores very little additional energy above 3.45V. ====== Leuchten ====== Die LEDs leuchten nur, wenn Geladen oder Entladen wird. Set the DVCC charge current limit to 5A and voltage limit to 52v (which is lower than CVL @ 53.2v and CCL @ 22.2A currently) and will thus become active overwriting the other Set the batteries to “keep charged”. This will of course trigger a charge from the grid. Let it slowely recharge until 100% Repeat When battery high voltage warnings start disappearing, increase the charge voltage 0.5V at a time until above battery CVL again Yes that is about it. You only need to discharge to around 70-80% before the charge to start as the balancers normally dont work until you reach ~3.4V depending on the BMS and settings. Some say that it helps to discharge fully, but the top part is what really matters. So I would do that a few times before trying discharge and full charge if your battery still need work. Yeah, I hope this isn’t a bigger issue. Thanks all, will then do 75% or so and let it slowly recharge. I mean loadshedding is still a thing, so it is going to run from the batteries somewhere in any case. Considering that the current battery voltage difference is 200mV, I think balancing the voltage difference to 50mV is acceptable. https://powerforum.co.za/topic/28119-pylontech-us5000-balances-every-day/ ====== Other option ====== Problem 512 gelöst .
